A pilot since 1950, Mel has accumulated more than 13,000 flying hours. He is a former Air Force captain, a past president of the Massachusetts Aviation Trades Association, a former director of The Framingham Trust Company, and is president-emeritus of the oldest aero club in America, The Aero Club of New England. Mel currently flies a Cessna 180 off his 650-foot private airstrip and also flies his Beech F-33A between Daytona Beach and Marlboro on a regular basis. He is a graduate of Brown University.

Bob has been with Dorr Aviation for over 20 years. He became the President of Dorr Aviation Credit Corp., LLC in 2001 and has been an integral part of the expansion of the company. Since becoming President, he has overseen the construction of Dorr’s new office building which opened in 2006 and has grown the company from five employees to eleven. Brian joined Dorr Aviation in 1997. He has been an AOPA member since 1999 and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Brian is an avid golfer and a member of Marlborough Country Club.

Jason has been with Dorr Aviation since December 2002 and has over ten years of banking experience in both commercial and aircraft financing. He graduated from the University of Montana in 1998 with a degree in finance.

Tara has been employed with Dorr Aviation since November 2001. Before coming to Dorr, she was a staffing representative with Fidelity Investments. Tara graduated in 1998 from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a degree in psychology. She is a member of Women in Aviation and Society for Human Resource Management.

Art comes to Dorr Aviation with many years of aviation financing experience. He has worked for numerous lending institutions as well as several aircraft credit corporations. Art has been a private pilot and aircraft owner since 1974.

Lisa comes to Dorr Aviation after 10 years as director of shipping at a regional machine tool shop. She is a student pilot, and a part-time nurse at two local hospitals.

Pat came on board at Dorr Aviation in August of 2006. Growing up, Pat had some experience in flying single engine planes with a childhood friend who is currently a Piper owner. Pat has a degree in psychology from Worcester State College.

Jenn comes to Dorr with 10 years of experience at Commerce Insurance. While at Commerce, Jenn was a mortgage processor and worked in their Tax Department. She graduated with honors from Nichols College in 2007. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in IT, Finance and Marketing.

Diane is our newest addition to the Dorr Aviation team. Her career includes more than 18 years in a variety of administrative support and customer service capacities. She recently moved to Massachusetts from New Hampshire where she worked as a member services representative for the NH Association of Realtors.
