In the past there weren't many, if any at all, finance-related restrictions on the age of an airplane, however in the new General Aviation era we are experiencing more age restrictions. Lending institutions are putting more limitations on piston aircraft manufactured prior to 1980 and turbine aircraft older than 10 years of age. However, at Dorr Aviation we have the ability to work directly with lenders and are given more flexibility due to our experience with aircraft values.
